Meet the Team
Macy Dunegan, CFP®Macy started her career in the retirement plan space, specializing in government and public employees. She is passionate about partnering with advisors to confidently present and implement planning with their clients. One of her favorite challenges in the planner role is building creative solutions when software presents limitations, fostering complex illustrations of cash flow, estate, or tax planning concepts.
She has used her background to help much of her community, especially those in the public sector. This focus might have come in handy to extricate herself from a speeding ticket a few years ago. The officer released her with a warning when she shared that she helped administer his retirement plan for the county! This rivals another great accomplishment of her past: winning a donut eating contest at age 17. She has since retired from eating contests, but could be convinced if the right situation presents itself. Macy is a proud Texas Longhorn and a CFP® certificant. |
Lindsey Cole, MSFPAfter graduating with her master’s degree in financial planning, Lindsey began as a director of financial planning, working side by side with advisors within an independent RIA, whose primary focus was business exit and estate planning. As part of the Kestra Planning Group, she finds the most compelling aspect of her role is the ability to work with advisors to bring their planning practice to the next level. Whether it be advisors who want to start planning for the first time, or tenured planners who want to focus deeply on niche planning, Lindsay enjoys helping advisors find the most impactful pillars of planning for their businesses. She favors planning focused on contingency and sale of businesses but can’t help but love all planning topics.
She is originally from a tiny town in West Texas called Floydada, the self-proclaimed “punkin” capital of the world. Many in this small town don’t realize that “pumpkin” is both spelled and pronounced incorrectly by the rest of the world until they are well into early adulthood. Lindsey counts herself as one of the fortunate townsfolk who still secretly holds “punkin” as the most appropriate term for the fall harvest vegetable. Lindsey is a CFP® candidate. |
